Friendly staff, good location near bars and night markets. Cheap accommodation, with air conditioning in rooms. Open bar with beer pong and pool.

I had a wonderful experience at Nearthepark Backpack Hostel 2. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with anything we needed. the location of the hostel was excellent, especially if you're interested in exploring the Saturday night markets and bars. the accommodation was surprisingly cheap, and the rooms had air conditioning to keep us cool during the hot weather. The staff went above and beyond by holding onto my forgotten shoes and allowing my friend to pick them up weeks later. Cons: Nothing could have been better—my stay was absolutely perfect! 👌.

The double room at Nearthepark Backpack Hostel was cozy and comfortable, with a shared bathroom and all the essentials. I loved the seating area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Chiang Mai. The balcony was a nice touch too!
I personally didn't find the hairdryer in the shared bathroom very convenient, but others might still appreciate it.

During my recent transit in Chiang Mai, I had the opportunity to stay at Nearthepark Backpack Hostel 2. Although my stay was brief, I was impressed by two key features of this hostel. its convenient location near the airport, which was only 4 km away, made it extremely easy for me to catch my early morning flight. the provided database mentioned that this hostel offers a cozy and comfortable stay, which was indeed true. The beds were clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep before my departure.
The database mentioned that towels would be provided, but unfortunately, I didn't find any in my room.

The location was great, with easy walking access to the city center and the market. Additionally, it was easy to travel anywhere in the area with the availability of Grab or Rider services.

The staff was really nice and helpful! They were friendly and always willing to assist with whatever I needed. The location was great, with many famous temples, a market, and a 7/11 nearby. Plus, the price was fair for what I got.
The cleanliness was a bit disappointing. The bathrooms were not very clean and there were stains on the bedding.
